El Consejo Munidal de Optometría (WCO) que representa a 250,000 optometristas de 80 organizaciones de 45 países en el Boletín de Noticias de marzo 2015 publica esta información: 

NEWS FROM LATIN AMERICA:   Mexico one step closer to official recognition of optometry profession  Following the lead of the House of Representatives, the Mexican Senate has unanimously passed a law requiring those practising optometry in the country to have a recognised university degree.  The final step is approval from the President, who should sign off the law by the end of March.  Read more >
